Artwork Description

This abstract piece has an underlying message of 'money controls society'. We can never get on top because money is on top, governing us all. There will always be people who are bigger and better than us, but money is always above them. It has a grip on our society. I feel influenced by how I see life and also by artists such as Mondrian and Malevich, using simple shapes in an abstract manner. Expressing something which can be interpreted in a multitude of ways.

Artist Bio

I am an emerging artist who is currently still attending school, I draw inspiration from the role money plays in society. I hope to demonstrate to the world how money has the power to rule everyone and everything. I want to make a point that anyone can create art with meaning. I am attempting to sell my final piece of art 'grips on society' as part of my art workshop project. I have researched artists such as Mondrian and Melevich as inspiration. I hope that being successful in selling this piece will inspire me further.
