Artwork Description

"White Contours 2" by Eva Johnova
Size 72 x 75 x 10cm ( from highest and widthiest point)

White Contours 2 is a sculptural wall piece that blends minimalist elegance with organic movement.
Gentle, fabric-like forms rise from a smooth surface, creating a serene flow of texture and depth.
The finish is a pure matte white, intentionally crafted with subtle surface imperfections that enhance the natural, hand-formed character of the piece.
As light moves across it, soft shadows shift along the contours, giving the artwork a quiet, ever-changing presence.

While presented in pure white, the artwork is fully customizable—
the colour can be changed to any shade of the buyer’s choice to suit any interior space.

Artist Bio

Eva Johnova is a Slovakian born abstract artist residing on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Growing up Eva has always had an artistic side which she initially expressed through her work as a make-up artist in Paris, London and Edinburgh. Since moving to Australia she has expanded her horizons and moved into the world of contemporary abstract art and design.

Nature is Eva’s greatest inspiration – especially the rich colours and textures from the mountains of her childhood in Slovakia and both the natural beauty of the Australian outback and the many beaches around Australia. Her earliest pieces involved working with found objects such as old furniture, books, newspapers to create environmentally sensitive works of art. She then took inspiration from the ethereal beauty of feathers. She has been using the natural material and also delicate hand-crafted paper feathers, during her previous design phase.

As Eva's creative spirits have soared, she has returned more and more to her inspiration from the natural beauty to be found in the outback and beaches of Australia. Eva has been inspired to create the beautiful resin artworks that mimic both the beautiful waves crashing on the sandy beaches which the Northern Beaches of Sydney are famous for as well as the contrasting beauty of the harsh ruggedness of the outback meeting the smoothness of the ocean.
