Keeping the Bastards Honest 2 explores the chaos of political street protest that is hidden in plain sight. Utilising flares that are found in street demonstrations across the globe as a medium in the artwork, directly brings the street into the artwork from the colour, damage and the smell that lingers.
Evan Indrek Pank is an award winning Australian/Estonian artist, based out of Sydney that creates screen print artworks with spray paint and smoke flares. Exploring the chaos hidden in plain sight of football supporter culture and political activism, he has drawn on his experiences as a football fan and interest in politics to create striking artworks.
