Masked Up explores the individuals in street protest who adopt masks to not only maintain anonymity but also as protection against crowd dispersal tools from police. The artwork utilises recycled misprints or practice prints as the background with a new image printed over the top.
Evan Indrek Pank is an award winning Australian/Estonian artist, based out of Sydney that creates screen print artworks with spray paint and smoke flares. Exploring the chaos hidden in plain sight of football supporter culture and political activism, he has drawn on his experiences as a football fan and interest in politics to create striking artworks.
