Bluethumb “Rising Star” Artist and finalist in the 2021 Bluethumb Art Prize

This artwork was created with loose free brushstrokes and a simplified colour palette. The contrasting colours provide a striking composition, with some elements more representational than others. It is based on a sketch I did in the car while my husband and I were driving through Yarra Glen. Occasionally when we take this drive, we spot hot air balloons over the wineries - what a sight!!
The three canvases each measure 61x61cm and the edges are painted as wrap around, so if you hang them slightly apart, the artwork looks very pleasing from all angles.
I have included photos of this artwork installed into a room with furniture. In situ photos were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale but should give you an idea of how your artwork might look.
