THE INSPIRATION
Kata Tjuta is amazing at dawn and dusk - the colours on the rocks are a gorgeous blend of glowing reds, oranges and purples.
I visited this magical place in 2011 and luckily took loads of photos which I can now refer to, to jog my memory for painting. I long to return so I can paint this scene "live".
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This semi-abstract -semi-realism Australian landscape is colourful, full of texture, and has many layers of oil paint. It is bright yet somehow moody, with dark tones providing balance against sunlit rocks, grass and trees.
The sides are painted white; if you would like the sides painted a different colour, please let me know (for example, pale grey or coral would look beautiful as well).

ABOUT ME
Born into a family of musicians, authors, actors, photographers and painters, it was natural that life lead me here, poised at the canvas, brush in hand. I live entirely off-grid at my bushland home in rural Victoria with hubby, dogs and a gorgeously prolific vegetable garden.
I use art to express my immense – well, let's say obsessive – passion for the indigenous landscape, which is easily recognised in my vibrant colourful artworks. Luscious layers of pigment are applied with energy and spontaneity, often switching from brush to palette knife to provide additional texture and depth to my paintings.

FRAMING
It would look great framed, however this is not necessary as the painting is stretched over an internal frame, and is therefore ready to hang.
PACKAGING
My paintings are treated with the greatest care throughout their life in my studio and home, or at exhibitions where they may temporarily hang. I am extremely careful to ensure your art does not suffer scuff marks, dents or scratches; and it will be carefully wrapped in bubble-wrap and sturdy cardboard. Gift wrapping is available on request.
DELIVERY
Delivery is via courier, and insurance is included.
