Bluethumb “Rising Star” Artist and finalist in the 2021 Bluethumb Art Prize
My art explores the colour and form of Australian native flora - in this painting, eucalyptus leaves in a sweeping circular composition, with two wrens perched in a small branch. To be honest, the wrens which reside in my garden twitted noisily outside my studio the entire time that I worked on this painting - so it was very easy to find inspiration!
Thick layers of gorgeous professional oil paint were applied with a palette knife and brushes. in harmonious earthy tones. Please note the paint needs a few days to dry - so it will be ready for dispatch after 20th November. Feel free to purchase now and I'll hold it for you x
The negative space created by the weave of raw linen is especially beautiful. The linen has been sealed in transparent primer.
I have included photos of this artwork installed into a room with furniture. In situ photos were created using various apps and may not be perfectly to scale but should give you an idea of how your beautiful new artwork might look.
Where provided, pictures depicting framed art are illustrative only - just to give you an idea of how a beautiful timber frame might enhance the look of your painting. Feel free to reach out with photos of your own space and I can photoshop the artwork into your room for you.
If you are based in Victoria, you may like to see my paintings in person before making your purchase - I am located near the beautiful Trawool Estate (approx 90 minutes north of Melbourne) and often arrange to meet collectors there to show off my art. Just send me a message to arrange a suitable viewing time.
I love hearing from collectors! Feel free to contact me and I’ll be happy to answer questions and provide more photos 😁
Best,
Eve x
