This painting is a one-off unique artwork which has been lovingly created in my studio with thick luscious layers of high quality oil paint using a palette knife. Gum leaves appear frequently in my work, as my studio is nestled into a large group of beautiful old trees which are home to a population of noisy native birds and insects.

The negative space represented by the primed pure linen in this artwork perfectly complements the earthy and warm palette of colours I have used in this piece.
