Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

When visiting this iconic Australian outback marvel a few years ago, I just knew that one day I would paint this ancient desert scene featuring the Devil's Marbles in gorgeous oranges and reds. I have also included gum trees and a small flock of cockatoos for a little whimsy.

Sides are painted as wrap-around and the paint has a satin sheen (neither flat nor glossy).

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born into a family of musicians, authors, actors, photographers and painters, it was natural that life lead me here, poised at the canvas, brush in hand. I live entirely off-grid at my bushland home in rural Victoria with hubby, dogs and a gorgeously prolific vegetable garden.

I use art to express my immense - well, let's say obsessive - passion for the Australian landscape, which is easily recognised in my vibrant colourful and sensitive artworks. Luscious layers of pigment are applied with energy and spontaneity, often switching from brush to palette knife to provide additional texture and depth to my paintings.

Please note, I do not produce prints or replicas of my artwork, as I prefer that each of my paintings is entirely original.

PACKAGING
My paintings are treated with the greatest care throughout their life in my studio and home, or at exhibitions where they may temporarily hang. I am extremely careful to ensure your art does not suffer scuff marks, dents or scratches; and it will be carefully wrapped in bubble-wrap and sturdy cardboard.

DELIVERY
Delivery is via courier, and insurance is included.
