Framing not required.
This artwork needs to be stretched by a framer.
The beauty of the Australian outback is absolutely beautiful when viewed from the air. This aerial landscape attempts to capture ribbons of rivers cutting through the dry landscape, with straight lines presenting roads. It is a diptych - ie, there are two canvases which may be hung together or separately.
I have used both conventional and unconventional materials in this artwork - acrylic paint and brushes were accompanied by apple tree sticks, sponges, silt, salt, campfire charcoal and ink. It contains many layers and points of interest.
This artwork has been painted on loose canvas and so it can be stretched by your local framer, or by Bluethumb’s convenient and popular framing service (if you use Bluethumb's service, the painting will go straight from my studio to the framer, and then delivered to your door).
The actual size of the painting is much larger than you see here, to take into account the wrapping around stretcher bars.
- The painting is sealed and varnished for protection and lustre
- Heavy duty, high quality materials
- Signed Certificate of Authenticity and other goodies included
I welcome collectors to visit me in Trawool before purchase - I often meet at the beautiful Trawool Estate (approx 90 minutes north of Melbourne) and often arrange to meet collectors there to show off my art. Just send me a message to arrange a suitable viewing time.
I love hearing from collectors! Feel free to click “Contact Eve” below, and I’ll be happy to answer questions and provide more photos 😁
Best,
