Loads of texture and layering in this painting of a rusty bicycle which is leaning against a crumbling stone wall. The stones and the crumbling render have echoes of pink, purple and blue hues, while this charming bicycle is a little wonky and has is riddled in rust but is clearly being used by its owner. The field in the background washes away into the sky, which is bright but heavy with spring rain.
