Artwork Description

Part of an exhibition called Dog Years, held at Ellenbrook Arts in WA in 2025, all about Dogs and their place in our lives. This centrepiece work depicts a Red Setter in the traditional Old Masters style and brings a homely, traditional and rural vibe to its setting.

Artist Bio

Eveline is a Dutch-born artist who grew up in rural Western Australia. Her paintings intertwine a love of nature and the luminous qualities of oil paint and are woven with themes of empathy, transformation and human-animal relationships. Eveline trained in Visual Arts at Edith Cowan University (Bachelor of Contemporary Arts graduate 2020) and was awarded the Louise Macfie Painting Prize in 2019.
