Artist Bio
Eveline Ruys is a Dutch-born artist who grew up in rural Western Australia. Her paintings intertwine a love of nature and the luminous qualities of oil paint and are woven with themes of empathy, transformation and human-animal relationships. Eveline trained in Visual Arts at Edith Cowan University (Bachelor of Contemporary Arts graduate 2020) and was awarded the Louise Macfie Painting Prize in 2019.
