Bamboo Tiger

Look out, look out, there's a tiger about! Lazily coming from behind his hiding place but ready to spring if something catches his eye.

This tiger is painted using acrylic paint on canvas board and is framed with a 4 cm black wooden frame, ready to hang.

I am originally from Wales but settled in Australia many years ago. I have always been interested in art but being a full time teacher and bringing up three boisterous boys meant I had little time in which to experiment. Since I have retired I spend most of my time producing artwork, whether it be graphite drawing, painting in acrylics, coloured pencil work or pen and ink work. I am also involved with U3A ( University of the Third Age ) , a not for profit organisation run by volunteers, and teach drawing using graphite pencil and pen and ink.
