Finally a victory for the dogs! Two greyhounds racing away from a burning greyhound racing stadium, one holding a burning torch in its mouth. A humorous but scathing critique on greyhound racing. A must for all animal lovers. itโs comes complete in an antique frame with museum glass, itโs preloved so expect a few scratches but that just adds to its charm. A certificate of authenticity and a note of appreciation is included.
Ewen Welsh 134 artworks | 25 Sold Follow Contact Ewen Tasmanian artist specialising in portraits. As you can see, most of my works are black and white portraits, usually just the model, no background or colour. I prefer to use real people in a relaxed pose with nothing to interfere or dilute the essence of the sitter. Quite a lot but not all of my work is nude so it takes a lot of time and effort to get the complete confidence and comfort of my model thus some of my work will take up to a month or more to complete. To counteract the starkness of my main work I also do the odd dog portrait and of course Coolio the resident rabbit likes to get in on the act! My home/studio is in the beautiful suburb of Bonnet Hill in southern Tasmania and visitors are welcome, just give me a few hours notice to tidy up and make sure I have no models booked
