Love cat

A little bit late for Valentine’s Day but this is for all the cat lovers or lovers of cat lovers or even cat lovers lovers.
It’s a quirky little drawing of a black cat with a love heart tail. It’s comes in a vintage frame, with a few scrapes and scratches like most cats but still looks great. It’s ready to hang and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a note of appreciation.

Ewen is a Tasmanian artist specialising in people and portraits.
Residing in the beautiful suburb of Bonnet Hill, just south of Hobart, surrounded by the natural world that inspires a lot of his work.
His big passion is telling peoples stories through his portraits, he’s not interested in the pretty young things, more the history in the lines and scars of real people.
A lot of his work is very graphic and may only appeal to a select few but he has still managed to have his work in institutions, galleries and private residences throughout the globe.
Some of his more recent work includes commissions of politicians, including Bob Brown, an ambition satisfied as he’s a committed conservationist.
When Ewen gets some spare time he likes to paint animals, especially rabbits behaving badly, inspired by his partner in art Coolio.
As well as being a supporter of human and animal rights he’s also a passionate advocate of LGBTQIA’s rights.
