The legend of the black and the full moon. Witching hour. A beautiful dark piece combining cuteness and a threatening aura.ive used the deepest blues and the darkest black combined with metallic silvers to give this piece a very quiet confidence. You’ll be aware of its presence no matter what the lighting is but it will never dominate. It’ll become a constant companion just like a cat or the moon should. It comes framed but you can reframe it to give a bigger picture if needed.
It comes with a certificate of authenticity and a note of gratitude.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
Tasmanian artist specialising in portraits.
As you can see, most of my works are black and white portraits, usually just the model, no background or colour. I prefer to use real people in a relaxed pose with nothing to interfere or dilute the essence of the sitter. Quite a lot but not all of my work is nude so it takes a lot of time and effort to get the complete confidence and comfort of my model thus some of my work will take up to a month or more to complete.
To counteract the starkness of my main work I also do the odd dog portrait and of course Coolio the resident rabbit likes to get in on the act!
My home/studio is in the beautiful suburb of Bonnet Hill in southern Tasmania and visitors are welcome, just give me a few hours notice to tidy up and make sure I have no models booked
