Part of my resistance series. A family of plovers looking very guilty and a burning farmhouse in the background. Is it just me or do you think plovers always look like they’re trying to look innocent. It comes ready to hang in a an antique frame (pre loved) and will be accompanied with a certificate of authenticity and a note of gratitude.

As you can see, most of my works are black and white portraits, usually just the model, no background or colour. I prefer to use real people in a relaxed pose with nothing to interfere or dilute the essence of the sitter. Quite a lot but not all of my work is nude so it takes a lot of time and effort to get the complete confidence and comfort of my model thus some of my work will take up to a month or more to complete. To counteract the starkness of my main work I also do the odd dog portrait and of course Coolio the resident rabbit likes to get in on the act! My home/studio is in the beautiful suburb of Bonnet Hill in southern Tasmania and visitors are welcome, just give me a few hours notice to tidy up and make sure I have no models booked
