A very cheeky depiction of an elderly Victorian man in a top hat.
Not for the faint hearted, this very large, very nude painting would light up the life of anyone brave enough to hang it. It sure beats the hell out of the average vase of flowers/landscape!
It comes ready to hang with a framework on the back so that it hangs like it’s floating 3 cms from the wall.
A certificate of authenticity and a note of gratitude will be supplied.
The Gentleman caller

Artist Bio
Ewen is a Tasmanian artist specialising in people and portraits.
Residing in the beautiful suburb of Bonnet Hill, just south of Hobart, surrounded by the natural world that inspires a lot of his work.
His big passion is telling peoples stories through his portraits, he’s not interested in the pretty young things, more the history in the lines and scars of real people.
A lot of his work is very graphic and may only appeal to a select few but he has still managed to have his work in institutions, galleries and private residences throughout the globe.
Some of his more recent work includes commissions of politicians, including Bob Brown, an ambition satisfied as he’s a committed conservationist.
When Ewen gets some spare time he likes to paint animals, especially rabbits behaving badly, inspired by his partner in art Coolio.
As well as being a supporter of human and animal rights he’s also a passionate advocate of LGBTQIA’s rights.
