Every afternoon the Flying foxes of Bellingen launch into the sky at dusk, thousands of them, flying west for the night. The stream extends for miles and miles into the distance. I wanted to describe the phenomenon in an etching.

Original line and aquatint etching on zinc plate printed on Stonehenge 220 gsm paper with Charbonnel black and violet, spot-coloured landscape tinting.
