Artwork Description

Floating gently between land and sea, this figure embodies balance, beauty, and the mystery of duality. With a glowing seahorse by his side and bubbles dancing around him, he moves with grace through two realms — blending masculine and feminine, strength and tenderness, action and reflection.
Inspired by Logun Edé, a powerful symbol of harmony and transformation, this artwork invites us to embrace all sides of ourselves. A small cross tattoo marked “Hodie” (Latin for today) reminds us to live fully in the present — a subtle nod to the fusion of African and Catholic traditions and the timeless wisdom they carry.
This piece is for those navigating change, seeking integration, or simply drawn to the poetry of opposites coming together in peace.

Artist Bio

Hi, I’m Fabio Borges — a Brazilian-born artist working at the intersection of collage, contemplation, and healing.

My creative process blends digital and analogue techniques with mindfulness, breathwork, and deep inner work. Each piece begins with intention — whether from a morning swim, a tarot reading, or silent meditation.

I see collage as a sacred practice. It’s how I stay present, explore my emotions, and make meaning from life’s paradoxes.
My art brings together spiritual symbols, childhood nostalgia, and raw human emotion — often mixing Christian iconography, Buddhist wisdom, Umbanda protection and shamanic elements.

For me, creating isn’t just expression — it’s healing.
After years of working with branding and communication, and now as a holistic practitioner, I’ve found that art is the most honest way I can serve others.

Since 2018, I’ve exhibited in Sydney, Miami, Nova York, Los Angeles, Londres, Barcelona, Madrid and São Paulo. I also run mindful collage workshops from my studio in Chippendale.

If, like me, you're driven more by questions than answers…
If you feel there's something inside your chest asking to be seen, touched, expressed…
Then maybe my art can walk with you through that journey.

I hope one of my pieces speaks to your heart.
