Artwork Description

Oil Paint on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This painting is inspired by a visit to the historic Alfred Nicholas gardens in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria. It was an incredible show of contrasts. The rich red of the maples, gold of the ginkgo biloba's, standing tall over lush, verdant shrubs and tree ferns. Beautiful chaos, yet there is still a harmony that can be distilled.
