Artwork Description

The women of the Tingarri (dreaming) are travelling to Kintore. They are at the place in the country of Kurlkurta, where there are three rockholes. They are now a sacred women's site. The design represents the sandhills, creeks and rockholes used in the traditional way in women's ceremonial sand drawings and body painting. The colours are distinctive of the ceremonial style of the Western Desert region.
