This painting constructs an immersive floral landscape that exists somewhere between reality and dream. Layers of white, soft green, turquoise, and warm yellow intertwine through expressive, energetic brushstrokes, creating a rhythmic visual field that resembles petals, clouds, and drifting light.
Rather than depicting individual flowers, the artist captures the essence and atmosphere of a vast flower sea through rich textures and dynamic color relationships. The turquoise area on the left appears like a hidden spring within the blossoms, or perhaps a trace left behind by the passing wind, creating a subtle dialogue with the surrounding luminous tones.
The entire composition is filled with movement and breath, inviting viewers to step into an endless expanse of flowers where light, color, and emotion flow together. It is a celebration of nature's vitality, abundance, and quiet beauty.
The *Flower Sea* series originates from my long-standing fascination with the vitality and emotional resonance of nature.
Standing before vast fields of flowers, I have often been moved not by any single blossom, but by the collective rhythm created when thousands of flowers sway together in the wind. Light travels across petals, colors merge within the air, and life unfolds with effortless grace.
In this series, I intentionally move away from literal representation. Instead of painting recognizable flowers, I use layered, gestural brushstrokes to convey movement, atmosphere, and memory. Color becomes a vessel for emotion, while texture records the traces of time, light, and wind.
*Flower Sea · After the Breeze* captures a fleeting moment remembered rather than observed—a moment when a gentle breeze ripples across a sea of blossoms, sunlight dances among the petals, and nature reveals its quiet abundance. The painting is both a reflection of a physical landscape and an expression of an inner emotional experience.
More than a depiction of flowers, this work presents a spiritual landscape—one that speaks of freedom, growth, renewal, and the healing power of nature.
