This is one of body of work “Reflection” series which show Fangmin’s exploration of the complexity and diversity of light and shadow along the river. It is his inspiration from outdoor landscape painting. It is his attempt to harmonize and balance between warm and cold tones, abstraction and reality, the tangible and the intangible.. He tried to use dreamlike colors and loose brush strokes to evoke people's re-cognition and perception of the natural world.
