Artwork Description

This painting captures a peaceful, early summer morning on a tree-lined dirt road in the countryside north of Melbourne, near Whittlesea. Painted in a style that blends impressionism with realistic detail, the composition emphasizes the dappled sunlight filtering through the dense canopy of leaves, casting soft, warm shadows on the path below. The road leads the eye gently toward the horizon, where a distant car adds a subtle human presence without disturbing the serenity of the scene.
The mood is calm, nostalgic, and hopeful — evoking a sense of quiet solitude and the beauty of nature just after sunrise. The cool greens and golden highlights reflect the freshness of a new day, inviting the viewer to pause and take a deep breath of country air.

Artist Bio

I was born in Iran in 1976. I began my artistic journey in 1991, aged 14, studying drawing and painting under prominent Iranian masters. I then pursued formal education in visual arts.

In 1996, I enrolled at the University of Art in Tehran, majoring in graphic design. While still a student, I entered the field of journalism and began working as an art director. I was actively involved in Iranian print media for over 16 years, working closely with many newspapers until 2012.

Alongside my work in graphic design and editorial illustration, I was also an active photojournalist. My photojournalism work earned national recognition, winning awards at the Iranian Press Festivals in 2011 and 2012. One of my photographs received third place in the photojournalism category, and I was also granted an award for excellence in news headline writing.

Throughout my career in Iranian and Middle Eastern media, I collaborated with various European and American newspapers and media outlets as a freelance photojournalist.
