Artist Bio

Felicia Lowe : Multi awarded Acrylic & Pastel Artist located in the beautiful South West of Western Australia.

An arts practice that is besotted with light, form & colour.

Felicia has spent over 25 years interpreting the Australian landscape, sunlight, animals & plants through her art, usually in acrylic or soft pastel, with micaceous pigments to create a subtle shimmering of the light.
“The movement of sunlight & unique colours of the Australian landscape captivate me, so much so, that I am driven to share the joy & brilliance that daily surrounds us by creating beautiful artworks.”

In addition to these themes above, Felicia is now investigating the lens refraction effect known as Bokeh (Japanese term “to blur”) with several series of work titled “Journeys”, “Afternoon” & “Bokeh” depicting early morning/late afternoon vistas through urban environment & bushscapes.

Felicia has an impressive list of awards and is well represented in local government/corporate & private collections. Felicia has carefully curated numerous solo and group exhibitions in Perth, Kalgoorlie & Geraldton over the past two decades, along with art tutoring in and around Perth WA
