As long as I have known I have always loved drawing, art and nature - these three things draw me in and fascinate me! There is a boundless combination of lines, colours, shapes and textures that can be applied, and I feel that as artists we are constantly looking for new ways to reflect nature with colour and texture. After my high school years (where I focussed on Art and Biology) I pursued Palaeontology where I studied the Ediacaran fossils of the Flinders Ranges and since became a Palaeontologist in this field. I am still a keen advocate for education in Palaeontology (particularly Ediacaran fossils) and am still working in this field, but I have always maintained a strong passion for art and have always felt the desire to draw and paint. This is now another focus of mine. As an artist at heart, it is my goal to explore this world and see where it takes me.
