Artwork Description

Inspiration is taken from the stunning Pilbara region of Western Australia. God's pool as it was affectionately known to those working at the FMG mine, is situated in the Karijini National Park. Australian minerals, including moonkaite Jasper feature within the piece, representing the earth that is the Australian outback.

I worked at the FMG mine I'm 2012. The opportunity came to me when my life had completely fallen apart. It was the best year of my life. There is something magical in that red dust.

Artist Bio

The last few years have been considerably troubled for me. I began to experiment with different styles in mid 2016 as a means to cope with my increasing isolation from the world I once knew. Paints are my release and relief.
