Artwork Description

Artwork Influence

I was walking in Alexandria, Sydney, and this amazing paperbark eucalyptus captured my eyes. I had to pause, take it all in, as much as I could. A few passed by and laughed, "she has never seen a tree, nothing special about that tree lady", they said. They were wrong, so many untold stories she held. I got home, I started to paint a tree, I don't remember the rest or how I finished it... I was enchanted by her story...

Artwork Description

My artworks are signed at the front and are sold unframed. Framing is a personal choice and most people prefer to choose their own frame, based on their interior design. When framing a watercolour painting, please ensure to use a Paspartu (a mat-board) to prevent the glass and the image from touching, and also to increase the visual appeal of the painting. Using a Paspartu will increase the framing size, though.
It is possible to arrange for framing via Bluethumb; if you are interested, please let us know or just simply choose your frame online.

Sizes

The measures provided are based on size of the watercolour surface. there are small margins that will be covered by Pasrpartu, when framing. The weight of the artwork is just an estimate.

Artist Bio

I’m an intuitive artist who learned by exploring, drawing, and painting from the time I was old enough to hold a pencil. I never studied arts, but I absorbed what I saw and learnt from every resources I had.
I paint what makes my heart sing, what calms my soul down, and quiets my mind's ongoing conversations. Flowers, nature, playfulness of light, and dancing branches, they all keep me present and I try to capture a hint of their beauties by my paintings. I love watercolour and acrylics, each helps me to express myself differently.
My watercolour artworks bring stillness and pause ; and then there is a shift, music and dance through my acrylics painting. And I know, I won't settle for a medium, they are the means to express myself and I will not limit how I express myself through colours.
