Magnolias

Magnolias are a dazzling array of modern botanical flower paintings.
More than an exploration of the forms, colours and details of flowers, this painting is lovingly created to heighten awareness of the beauty and perfection of nature.
Unlike traditional watercolour paintings that are confined to a frame and covered with reflecting glass, my experimental use of watercolour on canvas allows viewers to experience the texture and brilliance of her art without barriers. This vibrant floral arrangements will add life and joy to
any environment!

Ferie started her career as an interior architect and later as a graphic designer.

Her background as a designer has given her strength in drawings, composition,
perspective and colour coordination. She loves the softness and the moodiness of the
watercolour; lately she is also exploring other mediums like acrylics and alcohol inks.

She is exhibiting her artworks regularly throughout the year. Recent awards are:
a Highly Commended in the 2022 WSQ Annual Exhibition,
a First Prize in the 2020 The Australian Watercolour Muster
and a Third Prize in the 2019 EKKA exhibition.
