Modern, hand cut marquetry wall hanging. Each of my wall art pieces are cut piece by piece, by hand, using some of the most beautiful timber veneers available. Every petal, leaf, stem etc. is considered carefully as to which way the grain should run, which part of the grain works best in its place.
The iconic trumpet of the ’CALLA’ Lily sets beautifully against the curvy leaf in this piece. I have tried to maintain subtle colour variations in this work to portray the delicate nature of the Calla Lily. Set on an American White Oak background, these soft tones will sit elegantly in any area.
This wall hanging comes framed with a ‘floating’ style frame, in a colour that best makes the piece speak for itself.
