French view at dawn - 2018

inspired by the cold dawn mornings of winter, hints of pinks stain the sky as you look out to French Island from Grantville. When the tide is in and the winds are blowing the crispness of the air is soften by the soft glow of a morning sun.

Born in Canberra in the 70's but moved to Victoria as a child. I am an emerging artist from South Gippsland- my local environment is my inspiration. Mainly painting landscapes but will create an abstract event now and then. I am also a keen photographer and where I live I am constantly surrounded by beauty. The colours that are splashed in the sky on most nights take my breath away and feature strongly in my work.
