an abstract landscape - first patch of green following a spring shower after a dry winter. started out as a way of using the last of the paint on my pallet and grew into this piece.

Born in Canberra in the 70's but moved to Victoria as a child. I am an emerging artist from South Gippsland- my local environment is my inspiration. Mainly painting landscapes but will create an abstract event now and then. I am also a keen photographer and where I live I am constantly surrounded by beauty. The colours that are splashed in the sky on most nights take my breath away and feature strongly in my work.
