Sky or Water?

Water calms me.
A blue sky in spring energises me.
Looking at the sky near the water is pure bliss.

This captures both for me and as I was painting I felt the blurred elements of both and decided to stop and enjoy as is.

So is it the sky or is it water? What speaks to you?

Born in Canberra in the 70's but moved to Victoria as a child. I am an emerging artist from South Gippsland- my local environment is my inspiration. Mainly painting landscapes but will create an abstract event now and then. I am also a keen photographer and where I live I am constantly surrounded by beauty. The colours that are splashed in the sky on most nights take my breath away and feature strongly in my work.
