Winter Vortex - 2018

The sky can be so descriptive - a hint of a storm - the chop in the water - purple suggests sunset - the dark of night starting to show through. Sitting on my deck in Granville and looking at French Island across the water, I am rarely disappointed.

Born in Canberra in the 70's but moved to Victoria as a child. I am an emerging artist from South Gippsland- my local environment is my inspiration. Mainly painting landscapes but will create an abstract event now and then. I am also a keen photographer and where I live I am constantly surrounded by beauty. The colours that are splashed in the sky on most nights take my breath away and feature strongly in my work.
