I grew up on a headland at Mona ValeBeach in Sydney during the mid 50s to the late 70s. I studied fine art and teaching at the National Art School and Alexander Mackie College, East Sydney, graduating in 1975 with a Diploma in Art Education. I then went to live in Hawaii and California before travelling the coasts of France , Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Returning to Australia,I began a teaching and art career on the North Coast of NSW, which took me to eventually live on Lord Howe Island where I established my own gallery and studio. After 16 years I returned to the Clarence Valley in Iluka where I have a studio and to my catamaran in Fiji which is my home and inspiration.
