Artwork Description

SOLD AS A PAIR
This pair of original abstract paintings brings a bold, energetic presence to any modern interior. Sold as a cohesive diptych, both pieces utilise a rich, moody palette of deep blacks, earthy greens, and grounded browns, violently punctuated by sharp strokes of electric red. The compositions are a masterclass in controlled chaos. Heavy, industrial linework divides the space, creating architectural grids and fragmented windows that trap and release the abstract forms. Rough, textured patterns and staccato brushstrokes give the surfaces a gritty, raw sensation, as if peeled directly from an urban landscape. My works have a touch of street art. These paintings are deeply influenced by the structural, geometric abstractions of the mid-20th-century avant garde. There is a continuous tug-of-war taking place on the canvas between rigid, calculated boundaries and impulsive, raw emotion. It captures the frantic, over stimulating rhythm of modern city life where structural order endlessly collides with organic human expression.

Artist Bio

I see the world in shapes and colours. With more than 30 years of experience as a creator, my art is the result of a life lived across borders and cultures. Having lived overseas and travelled widely, I’ve found that painting is the only way I can truly express myself without words. It has been my loyal companion through every season of change, giving me energy and a sense of purpose. I am deeply in love with the process of creating something new, the journey of the brush is just as important as the finished piece. My work is an intuitive response to the sights and sounds that surround me, inviting the viewer to join me in that sensory exploration. I am deeply in love with the process of creating something new, which is why I’ve learned to trust spontaneity and embrace imperfection. My work is a visceral response to my environment, not a literal record of it; it is a way of seeing the world for myself, rather than recording how others expect me to see it. By letting the energy of the moment guide my hand, I make room for the intuitive marks that define my journey. Each piece is a sensory dialogue............a response to sound, sight, and the raw joy of the unscripted path.
