Conversations with a Green Shape

My abstract mixed-media painting " Conversations with a Green shape" balances organic form with rigid geometry. The composition is anchored by a dominant, textured olive-green oval shape filled with delicate, vertical white hatch marks that mimic natural growth or rain. This central form rests over fluid, beige layers and a stark, black square filled with floating, hand-drawn circles. I draw heavy inspiration from mid-century abstract aesthetics, specifically the interplay between industrial structures and the natural world. The grid patterns on the right are my nod to high-rise windows or blueprint layouts. For me, the overall composition mirrors architectural drafting combined with landscape mapping.
