This piece is a playful, intuitive response to the simple joys that fill my daily life. Instead of just recording my environment, I wanted to capture the bright energy of ordinary moments—like sharing a quiet afternoon drawing with my stepdaughter, the fresh rhythm of watering the garden, and the morning routine of collecting warm eggs from my chickens. I see these memories as a lively dance of shapes and colours rather than fixed scenes. I see the world in shapes and colours. With more than 30 years of experience as a creator, my art is the result of a life lived across borders and cultures. Having lived overseas and travelled widely, I’ve found that painting is the only way I can truly express myself without words.
