The Sound of Copper

The Sound of Copper is my exploration of the raw, spontaneous energy of industrial landscapes, channelled through the lens of Abstract Expressionism. I wanted to balance mechanical structure with emotional freedom, cutting blueprint-like geometric fragments with fluid, intuitive brushstrokes driven by pure intuition. My palette relies on rich metallic undertones and oxidized hues to evoke weathered steel and raw copper, capturing a gritty atmosphere that feels both historic and futuristic. Through heavy texture and sophisticated energy, I created this artwork to serve as a powerful, atmospheric statement piece that completely transforms modern, industrial, or minimalist interiors.

I see the world in shapes and colours. With more than 30 years of experience as a creator, my art is the result of a life lived across borders and cultures. Having lived overseas and travelled widely, I’ve found that painting is the only way I can truly express myself without words.
