My journeys along Thunderbolts Way to Walcha carry me through layers of time. Named after Captain Thunderbolt, whose spirit lingers from the 19th century, this path becomes a canvas of transformation. I’m entranced by the wide open spaces that unfold outside the window—a symphony of shifting landscapes. The scene evolves dramatically, from the embrace of hilly forests to the expanse of grassy pastures, each transition an ever-changing narrative. The journey traverses places with poetic names—Gloucester, Barrington, Nowendoc—unveiling a never-ending visual tapestry, a passage through the enchanting Great Dividing Range.
