Flower Passion started out as an abstract painting for above my bed. However as it progressed flowers emerged and before I knew it, it was completely flowers. It's done in all my favourite colours and I absolutely love it. I'm putting it up for sale as my husband thinks its a bit too flowery for his liking.
Flowers are Fiona's favourite subject to paint and sculpt. Fiona believes painting is her mediation, and the flowers symbolism connects with her as she paints. Flannel & Protea flowers for example are known for their strength, courage, and resilience. Inspiration is everywhere yet especially in her flourishing garden in Tolmie.
