Beneath the trees the beauty lies.

"Beneath The Trees The Beauty Lies" the deceptive nature of beauty, we must take the time to remove the layers to find our truth.

The artwork is on four panels. Each panel is 50cm x 50cm (work hanging measures 100 x 100cm)

The panels started as four separate paintings that I reworked several times till aerial landforms started to appear. The natural forms reveal layers and layers of line, shape and colour. This work has taken many forms and the search for its true nature has been challenging but rewarding.

ARTIST - DESIGNER - TEACHER

I am a passionate Art and Design teacher living and working in the S.E suburbs of Melbourne. I have always had a passion for painting and have worked in a range of styles. Currently my work mainly features hues of blue and different painterly effects I achieve with a combination of spray bottles, alcohol inks and acrylic paint. I am inspired by organic forms, nature and how the paint moves on the surface. I never have a finished artwork in mind when I begin a painting, the process guides the final product.
