I’m an artist known for my evocative and diverse body of work, which explores both the tranquility of nature and the depth of human emotion. Through bold, expressive brushstrokes and a deeply personal approach, I aim to capture the raw essence of feelings that often go unexpressed — transforming them into visual narratives that invite reflection and connection.
I grew up in New Zealand and was lucky to have an idyllic childhood, spending every school holiday by the beach. The ocean has always brought me peace, joy, and a profound sense of happiness. It remains one of my greatest sources of inspiration. I love bright colours that remind us to have fun, be ourselves, and embrace life fully. My favourite place is always in nature — by the ocean, surrounded by local animals and the soothing rhythm of the natural world.
Living in Mt Tamborine on the Gold Coast Hinterland also gave me endless inspiration to explore and paint. The lush landscapes, soft mountain light, and ever-changing moods of the forest continue to influence my art and the emotions I bring to each piece.
My paintings range from serene beach scenes that evoke calm and peace, to vivid or softly muted floral compositions that celebrate the beauty and fragility of nature. In contrast, my portraits delve into the depths of human emotion, offering a glimpse into the complexity and vulnerability of the human experience. With a keen eye for colour, texture, and mood, I strive to create art that draws the viewer in — evoking introspection, emotion, and a sense of connection.
