Without art, there is no me. I am from Hong Kong and studying Architecture in Adelaide. I want to share my life story: the livelihood of Australia and Hong Kong, my future aspiration and memories. I presented my works with varied techniques, through the vibrant colour, brushstrokes and the scale of the works. The artwork is personal, innovative, skilful, cohesive and thoughtful, using visual impact to raise the audience’s curiosity. The usage of the chaotic and rapid brushstrokes with thick acrylic or loose lines with ink reflects my personal style, showing wild, expressive and dramatic mark-making. It also shows the juxtaposition of the painting and the concepts behind, letting the audience feel my liveliness and the element of imagined sound from the artworks of Hong Kong and Australia.
