This work came about after many explorations of the Mt Tamborine region. I did an oil stick drawing and loved the sweeping movement of the trees and the flow of the water down the falls.

The blue of the sky and water sets the scene against the abstracted rock formations that are coated with red, orange ochre lichen that makes the rocks look appear to be on fire. Followed by the whitiish sand. It looked lonely at first and I decided to put some tourists in that were there at the time.

The blue sky has a flying saucer hovering over the trees. The background is yellow, orange, red and magenta flame like areas with what looks like two blue stick like figures hugging each other.

A meandering river with a blue sky with white, magenta tinted clouds overlooking the river with ochre green pastures and trees embracing the river.

A blue sky and clouds abstracted with mauve blue, purple and blue rocks with cascading white water coming down the rock formation into the pool below. Abstracted yellow green trees are forming the top of the falls.
