Thank you for popping in for a look at my paintings. Born and raised in Melbourne, art has been something I enjoyed, especially at school.
Now in my 60s and having spent most of my working life in the fashion industry, I am slowly but surely taking steps towards retirement and enjoying what I have always wanted to do.
About 10 years ago I picked up my brushes, bought some canvases and beautiful acrylic paints and started to explore the wonderful world of art all over again.
Starting out again I found myself painting many a pet portrait for family, friends and the wider community. It was a great starting point to dip my toes in the water, so to speak.
Fast forward to now and I find myself drawn to nature, especially flowers, whether in their natural surroundings or in vases, birds, trees and our beautiful outback.
I love using lots of colour and adding a bit of fun to my paintings.
