Artwork Description

When my wife bought some Pears home and I saw there rugged character and as it was siting against a block of weathered timber I knew it would be a great subject . painted it with a pallet knife to create the rugged texture of the fruit and the timber contrasting against the dark smooth backdrop. I am very pleased the results of the painting with the light coming from one side . Would look good anywhere but maybe suitable for a dinning room.
