Refuge

This Painting came from a vision I had in 2014, of being under the wings of refuge. All sorts and varieties of feathers, just every so gently sitting together being embraced by each other and together they embrace us. As I was working back into it, I felt Psalm 91 goes right along with it, but especially these verses:

4"He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday."

So know this; that you can find refuge in the Lord with whatever you're going through and in Him you can rest and breathe.

Hello, I'm Frinny, A Christian Artist and mum of three boys, residing in Stanthorpe Qld. I love to paint works derived from the Prophetic word of God and His creation! Over the last 12 months I have faced a cancer battle while pregnant with my third son. Two surgery's, chemo and radiation later I stand here with more fight than ever to pursue the dreams in my heart. I hope that you find that in each of my works there is a peace and a resilience to rest in the storms of life, holding onto and being lead by our wonderful creator. I believe a part of my destiny and design was created to be creative, and what a privilege to be alive to do so! I enjoy exploring the botanical and occasionally merging it alongside abstract construction, depending on what season i'm in. One of the things I am passionate about is seeing people learn who they are truly created to be in God and thrive in the fullness of their design.
